CSM has recently announced two new products, the ThrottleSafe and BECSafe.
The Throttlesafe is designed to cut your engine in the event of various conditions, such as total power loss, radio signal loss or low voltage conditions from the flight pack. The aim is that with this onboard it makes it much less likely that your machine will do a chicken dance after a crash.
The BECSafe is similar, it goes on electric models and is designed to take over if you have a BEC failure, diverting power to a backup small flight pack. It will also protect against over voltage conditions when BECs fail, protecting your precious servos, receiver and other equipment from a fatal voltage spike.

I have taken delivery of the new BeastX Microbeast flybarless system and will be fitting it to my Trex600 soon. I've been flying the Align 3G for a while now and am quite used to how it flies, and although it's not without it's foibles, it is a good benchmark for me to test other systems against. I look forward to flying this new system and making the comparison on it's flight characteristics and also ease of use.
Here's a few pictures of the unit to be getting on with.
