Welcome to the comparison / review of the two newest canopies for the G5. These canopies are both upgrade canopies and not available as part of an Outrage kit. The point of this comparison is to compare what you get from a premium airbrush company like Canomod versus what Outrage can produce themselves as an upgrade but more costs concious canopy.

Kasama have built up a good reputation for their high quality machined components. When I heard about the upgrade head for the Trex600, I had to find out more. Kasama then very kindly agreed to supply the head for review.

The CNC bottom bracket from KDE Direct is a straight forward dop in replacement for the Align bottom bracket. The difference being that the KDE Direct bottom bracket is CNC machined from aluminium. This means it is both stronger, stiffer and more accurately made than the stock plastic bottom tray.

The problem with the stock canopy mounts is that the stock canopy really isn't very flexible and it doesn't take long for cracking to appear in the canopy around the mount points. This is particularly bad around the front mount point next to the muffler.
