The following article sets out how you go about converting from the standard 3S lipo configuration that the majority of T-Rex owners use to a high voltage setup. Within this article I'm going to convert to a 4S configuration, which is generally not considered high voltage but the principles laid out here are good for running 5S or 6S as well. I will also cover creating a 5S pack from a 2S and 3S pack.

This article is for both experienced nitro pilots and beginners with micro helicopters. One of the initial problems when either starting out with the T-Rex as a first micro helicopter or starting out in the hobby with a T-Rex as your first machine is that of cyclic sensitivity.

For the total beginner, what do I mean by cyclic sensitivity?

The following are instructions on how to blade balance without the use of blade balancing equipment. Whilst this is the cheapest way to balance blades I would recommend getting a proper set of blade balancing equipment. The following is enough to get you very close to a balanced set of blades but if you want ultra precision then a proper blade balance is required. The principals of the procedure used is the same whether you use a proper blade balance or not.
