Compass 6HV

Introduction

The following is an end to end build video of the Compass 6HV.

This is an electric 50 sized model that runs on two 6S packs in series to make a 12S powered model. The kit includes motor and ESC and runs on 2500-3500mah packs.

This build covers mechanical build right through to radio installation.

GAUI X5

Introduction

I've got around 30 flights on the GAUI X5 now and I am really enjoying flying it. It flies straight and accurate and carries itself well through manoevures. It isn't a heavy model, but not too light either, so it is nice to control on the air.

I have tried 6S 3000 mAh, 4000 mAh and 5000 mAh LiPos in this model. With the 6S 5000 mAh Thunder Power packs I use, I cannot fit the canopy, but the others allow the canopy on without a problem. other 6S 5000 packs that are shorter but wider will fit without a problem.

Nothing is wearing out on this well built and high spec machine. It is going well, and is a joy to fly. No issues, just a solid performing helicopter.
